Allyson Felix
Allyson Michel Felix was born the 18th of November 1985 in Los Angeles. Felix's father Paul Felix is an ordained minister in the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. And her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix displayed an early talent for sports when she was attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting talent at that moment. Within a short time after her initial attempt, she finished second in the 200 meter race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix graduated from her high school year in 2003 and was signed by Adidas a contract as professional athlete. The following year she enrolled at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix's first Olympic medal was won at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place in Athens Greece. Felix set an international junior record the 200m race in 22.18 seconds. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her become the shortest woman ever to win the 200 meter race. In 2007 she defended the title by beating her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix competed in her first Olympics in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo regularly placing in the top three places in all her events.
